TEAM LATINO
Team Latino is een moderne en compacte formatie
bestaande uit muzikanten van Cuba, Chili en de Dominicaanse Republiek.
Deze dynamische band
brengt een mix van salsa, merengue en bachata met een moderne touch
zoals de reggaeton, salsaton en merengueton.
Team Latino brengt u door een muzikaal rondreis
langs
latijnsamerika en de caraïben. Zij tonen u hun veelzijdigheid, muzikaliteit en
dansspektakel met een repertoire van eigen composities en enkele toppers uit de
latinhitslijsten. Een repertoire voor iedereen elk wat wils, van jong tot oud!
Ze voelen zich thuis op het podium, dat is de
plaats
waar ze echt tonen wat ze in huis hebben.
Team Latino, met als
thuisbasis Antwerpen, België, werd opgericht begin 2011 door Walfrido Hernandez,
Wilfredo Hernandez en Javier Arenas. Dit dynamische trio werkte reeds samen in
het verleden (1998-2003), aan een succesvol muzikaal project en nu staan ze er
opnieuw samen met het vernieuwend, modern project: “Team Latino”.
Walfrido en Wilfredo, ook
bekend als de “twins”, zijn twee ervaren muzikanten van de Belgische Latino-diva
BELLE PEREZ. Tijdens één van haar
concerten, in de Sportpaleis arena, hebben Willy and Wally, als gastartiesten,
hun debuut als DOS CUBANOS gemaakt. Daar hebben ze hun eerste single gebracht
“Sube Sube”. Een jaar later maakten ze, samen met Belle Perez, een remix van de
populaire hit ENAMORADA. Dos Cubanos lag aan de basis van Team Latino.
Javier Arenas houdt zich
vooral bezig met de promotie van Salsa in België, artiestenbegeleiding en
CD-producties. Hij is al sedert 1993 actief als muzikant. Hij was lid van een
van de eerste salsabands in België.
De muzikanten van Team Latino
zien dit als het uitgelezen moment om hun muziekgenres, muzikale achtergronden
en ritmes te doen samensmelten in een vernieuwende en originele fusion van
Salsa, Merengue, Bachata en Latin. Hasta pronto!

TEAM LATINO
Team Latino is a modern and compact group of artists originating from Cuba,
Chile and Dominican Republic.
This dynamic band bring you a mix of salsa, merengue and
bachata with a modern touch like, for example, reggaeton, salsaton and
merengueton.
Team Latino will sweep you up and take you on a musical journey through Latin
America and the Caribbean. Let us show you our passion for great latin
music, our multi-purposeness and great sense of rhythm and dancing. We'll bring
you our own original compositions, aswell as well-known hits from the
latino-charts. Our repertoire will entertain young and old!
Team Latino's artists truly feel at home on the stage, where they can show
you what they are capable of.
Team Latino, based in
Antwerp, Belgium, was set up in 2011 by Walfrido Hernandez, Wilfredo
Hernandez and Javier Arenas. This dynamic trio alo worked together in the
past (from 1998 until 2003), on another succesful project and now they are
back with a renewing, modern project: "Team Latino".
Walfrido and Wilfredo,
also known as the "twins", are two talented musicians who work with the
very populair Belgian Latin-diva
BELLE PEREZ. Their debut as DOS
CUBANOS took place at one of Belle's concerts at the Belgian musichall
Sportpaleis, where they performed their first single "Sube Sube". A year
later they made a remix of the popular Belle Perez-hit, ENAMORADA.
Javier Arenas
spends most of his time promoting Salsa music in Belgium, artist
accompaniment and CD-producing. He has been an active artist
since 1993 and was member of one of the first salsabands in
Belgium.
The
musicians of Team Latino see this as the ideal opportunity
to mix their different genres, musical backgrounds and
rhythms into one project. Team Latino is a renewing and
unique fusion of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Latin. Hasta
