Team Latino is a modern and compact group of artists originating from Cuba and Chile.

This dynamic band bring you a mix of salsa, merengue, bachata and latin with a modern touch.

Team Latino will sweep you up and take you on a musical journey through Latin America and the Caribbean. Let us show you our passion for great Latin music, our multi-purposeness and great sense of rhythm and dancing. We’ll bring you our own original compositions, as well as well-known hits from the latino-charts like Despacito and Danza Kuduro. Our repertoire will entertain young and old!

Team Latino, based in Antwerp, Belgium, was set up in 2011 by Walfrido Hernandez, Wilfredo Hernandez and Javier Arenas. This dynamic trio also worked together in the past (from 1998 until 2003), on another successful project and now they are back with a renewing, modern project: “Team Latino”.

The musicians of Team Latino see this as the ideal opportunity to mix their different genres, musical backgrounds and rhythms into one project. Team Latino is a renewing and unique fusion of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Latin.

Walfrido and Wilfredo, also known as the “twins”, are two talented musicians who work with the very popular Belgian Latin-diva Belle Perez. Their debut as DOS CUBANOS took place at one of Belle’s concerts at the Belgian music hall Sportpaleis, where they performed their first single “Sube Sube”. A year later they made a remix of the popular Belle Perez-hit, ENAMORADA.

Javier Arenas spends most of his time promoting Salsa music in Belgium, artist accompaniment and CD-producing. He has been an active artist since 1993 and was member of one of the first salsa bands in Belgium.
